  • I am based in Germany’s lovely southwest, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. Hobbies of mine include reading, art, music & movies. I am also a passionate amateur cook, photographer and a professional tinkerer. Travelling, culture & going for a hike in nature do fill me with joy. As of now, December 21, 2025, I am studying Software Engineering (B. Sc.) @ HHN.

Believes

  • Communication is as important as ever and therefore a massive pillar of our society. I learned that there are 3 things one should always keep in mind when communicating:

    1. Whatever you do, do it wisely and consider the end
    2. There is a factual level in communication
    3. Saying nothing is also a message
  • Those mentioned points comprise a lot of values I live by. Conscientiousness for example is crucial when making decisions. Considering the end will lead to a meaningful outcome. Factual communication is about being clear, accurate and honest. It shows integrity while being reliable and respectful. Communication is really everywhere. You are communicating even if your intention is not to communicate.

Previous Activities

A detailed description of my vitae.

  • (09/2021 – Today) Studies at HHN: Software Engineering

Since switching from Electrical Systems Engineering, I’ve been studying Software Engineering. I’ve truly found my passion in Computer Science. The topics are exciting and wide-ranging. I did my major in digital transformation, which includes topics like data science, data analysis and ERP systems.

  • (03/2024 – 09/2024) Mercedes-Benz: Internship

I completed my required internship at Mercedes-Benz Vans in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim. In the CoC development department (Certificate of Conformity), I worked on a wide range of tasks. I gained insight into the development of internal tools and digital infrastructure used by the department. Working with international development teams and seeing modern software development and requirements management up close were very engaging experiences.

  • (11/2022 – 10/2023) Working Student in Embedded Systems at Valeo

I found myself sitting at the same desk as three years before. This time, in addition to small tasks like assembling and soldering hardware and cable harnesses, my main responsibilities were software-related, mainly extending a graphical user interface for communication with vehicle components over LIN-bus.

  • (09/2020 – 08/2021) Studies at HHN: Electrical Systems Engineering

Electrical Systems Engineering was, in a way, the next logical step considering my previous path. Or so it would seem. After two semesters, the motivation was gone. Maybe it was due to the pandemic, the lack of contact with fellow students, and the fact that all lectures—even the physics lab—were online. With a growing interest in computer science I then decided to switch.

  • (09/2019 – 07/2020) 1BKFH

I barely know how to explain this in German, to simplify it, lets just say you get a entrance qualification to universities of applied science within a year.

We (the boys and I) did a road trip through Scotland afterwards, that was fun!

  • (02/2018 – 03/2019) Electronics Technician in R&D at Valeo

I was lucky that during my final rotation of the apprenticeship, I got to work in a department that later took me on for a one-year fixed-term position. Apparently, I did a decent job and got the chance to work directly in R&D after finishing my training. Working in a department that acted as an interface between hardware and software gave me valuable insights into both worlds, allowing me to learn from the resulting synergies. My tasks included designing, building, testing, and maintaining tools necessary for development, as well as conducting experiments on prototypes.

  • (09/2014 – 01/2018) Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician at Valeo

Fresh from school I started this journey. Finally earning money, finally independence! During my apprenticeship as an electronics technician at Valeo in Bietigheim-Bissingen, I learned a lot about electrical engineering. I’m still very much connected to that field today and keep myself up to date.
